Edel Kelly; born Co.Louth, Ireland. Works and lives in New York City.

BA in Studio Arts from Hunter College, NY 2016. 

Kossak Painting Grant, 2016.

Edel has exhibited at Rubin Museum of Art in Manhattan, International Center of Photography in Manhattan, Saffron Art Gallery in Manhattan and Pelham Art Center in NY, amongst others.

During the months of August through October 2020, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Edel established a temporary artist run gallery in the historic location of Two Bridges in Chinatown, NYC. Works were displayed on the rooftop easily viewed by Manhattan bridge pedestrians and also in the artist apartment space for visitors. A record of the event can be viewed on her instagram account.
